Apples in a Crate

Further Information

What can I do at the orchard?

Shop at the store, pick-your-own apples, tractor-pulled wagon rides (Saturdays and Sunday, other days by appointment), see the animals, play on the playground, yard games, and mini-golf.

Is there an admission fee to Apples on the Avenue?

All entertainment is free, except for the tractor-pulled wagon ride ($4/adult, $2/child or $20 family pass) and pick-your own apples.

What methods of payment do you accept?

Cash, credit, and local checks.

Are you holding family weekends?

Not exactly. We used to hold family weekends and those were the only ones during which we had wagon rides. Now that we own our own wagon, rides are available every Saturday and Sunday, weather permitting.

Wagon rides are available by appointment on other days of the week, with a minimum charge of $20.

Do you accept Farmers Market Nutrition Program $3 checks?

Yes, we do accept them.

WIC checks can be used for apples and vegetables (including pick your own apples!). Senior checks can be used for apples, vegetables and honey.
